We have implemented a 2-tier approval process, meaning that project leaders will have to approve any query going to the game developer/publisher. Users from the language service provider assigning you localization jobs have moderation rights in projects. However, you have access to queries with all statuses.
These are all the query stages:
- New: only you (the query author) and the project leaders can see and edit the query.
- PM approval pending: the linguistic coordinator agrees with the query, but you still need to wait for project manager approval before the query is sent to the game developer/publisher.
- In-house answer pending: the query was approved to be answered by the project leaders without sending it across to the game developer/publisher.
- Client answer pending: the query was already made visible to the game developer/publisher and is waiting to be answered.
- Answer approval pending: the game developer/publisher already answered the query, but the answer needs to be approved by the project leaders.
💭 You and the rest of the linguists cannot see the answer yet.
- Rejected: if the query is rejected, you can access the query and see the rejection reason on top of the page.
- Completed: the answer was already validated by the project leaders.
- Completed (in-house): the query was answered internally.
💭 You always can see the status of the query and the actions available from the queries list (1) or from the Query Details page.
