We have implemented a 2-tier approval process, meaning that you will have to approve any query going to the game developer/publisher. Users with the following user roles have moderation rights in projects and will therefore have access to queries with all statuses:
These are all the query stages:
- New: a new query was submitted by an internal or external linguist or by one of the moderators.
💭 Queries in this status are only visible to project leaders and the query author.
- PM approval pending: although the Linguistic Coordinator is also a moderator, they have only the "coordinator approval" option. The project manager needs to approve the query to finally send it to the game developer/publisher.
- In-house answer pending: when you have approved a query to be answered in-house.
- Client answer pending: the query is waiting for the client's answer.
💭 This is the only status clients (game studio users) receive email notifications for.
- Answer approval pending: you must review and approve the answer before sending it to the linguists. The client (game developer/publisher) sees this status as "Answered".
- Completed: the query sent to a client has been completed.
- Completed in-house: the query sent internally has been completed.
- Rejected: you consider this query irrelevant or believe it has already been answered in another query. However, you want to keep it in the history of queries.
💭 You always can see the status of the query and the actions available from the queries list (1) or from the Query Detail page.
