Prompts Manager (for linguists)

Introduction

With the "Prompts Manager" on the Alocai Platform, project managers and coordinators can request the linguists to set the configuration of the ModelWiz AI translation criteria for the different ModelWiz account(s) and languages. These criteria are predefined custom prompts to enhance the ModelWiz translation thanks to its seamless integration with Generative AI.

With this tool, you will be able to:

- Configure the output criteria on the language assigned to you.

- Submit the criteria selected for revision and approval.

- Change the criteria whenever is required.

Access the ModelWiz settings from the Alocai Platform

If you are not familiar with the configuration of ModelWiz, make sure that you were informed by the Project Manager and/or Coordinator of the project. They will provide you with the required knowledge previously the selection of the criteria from the "Alocai Platform".

The Project Manager or Coordinator will provide you with access to the “ModelWiz” tab of the project.

1. Once you are granted access to the “ModelWiz” tab, open the "Prompts Manager" by clicking the button Open.

2. Click on the ModelWiz account(s) as indicated by the Project Manager. In the image above, you can see one account for in-game and one for marketing, however your project may have just one.

3. Click on the target language assigned to you.

💭 You may see several language tabs depending on the number of languages of the project approved to be pre-translated with ModelWiz. Please, do not make changes to languages that aren’t assigned to you.

4. Tick the checkboxes for the desired AI translation criteria only in your target language.

5. You can make changes the times you need or come back later in case you need to clarify the criteria with your team. Changes are autosaved so you don't need to worry about losing your selection.

6. When you have made your conclusive selections, click the Submit Changes button. This action will notify the main Project Manager and main Coordinator about the criteria you have chosen.

💭 You will see a red badge for Unselected options when a language has none of the criteria selected. You don’t need to worry about it.

Once the criteria selected are approved by the Project Manager or Coordinator, they will sync them with the ModelWiz plugin and let you know once the pre-translation is ready for you on MemoQ.
